Cleveland Arts Prize Continues Legacy of Supporting Emerging Artists Through Scholarship Awards

These scholarships are aimed at empowering promising artists to pursue their creative passions and further their education. CAP remains committed to fostering a vibrant arts community in Northeast Ohio and recognizes the importance of investing in the next generation of artistic talent. 

The following scholarships are awarded each academic year:

Kathryn Karipides Scholarship in Dance

Utilizing CAP’s dedication to supporting local educational institutions, the Kathryn Karipides Scholarship is awarded to Case Western Reserve University to assist students pursuing excellence in dance.

Klaus George Roy Scholarship

With a focus on nurturing young talent, the Klaus George Roy Scholarship has been awarded to the Cleveland School of the Arts to provide funding for students to purchase musical instruments.

Literature Scholarship

CAP recognizes the importance of literary arts and is proud to support Cleveland State University in fostering the next generation of writers and scholars.

John Paul Miller Scholarship

In honor of the esteemed jewelry metal artist John Paul Miller whose work can be found in the Cleveland Museum of Art as well as many other notable museums, this scholarship has been awarded to the Cleveland Institute of Art, supporting students in their pursuit of excellence in the visual arts.
