CAP Conversations bring Cleveland Arts Prize winners together with the curators, critics and historians who know their work best. Each talk digs into a corner of the region’s artistic life, from private sculpture parks to the legacy of Cleveland’s Optical Art painters. Most are recorded, so you can catch up on any you missed.
Held at the Midtown Collaboration Center, CAP hosts a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of Northeast Ohio’s most remarkable private art environments. 2020 Cleveland Arts Prize recipient and property owner Scott Mueller, along with principal director Alexandra Topalsky, present a special talk and digital tour of Rowdy Meadow, a breathtaking 150-acre property in Hunting Valley that serves as the grounds for an extraordinary sculpture park. The program offers an immersive exploration of the landscape and the vision behind its remarkable art installations. Through images and stories from the site, Scott and Alexandra share insights into the commissioning, installation and stewardship of works placed across the property.
